Thailand Update

Conditions within Bangkok are calmer after several weeks of political unrest that resulted in the deaths of approximately 80 people. A curfew is still in place in Bangkok and in several of Thailand's provinces, highlighting the precarious nature of the current calm.

We have once again confirmed that our projects are open and that our children and staff are safe. Please continue to pray for Thailand. Deep political divisions still exist and threaten to erupt in further violence. Pray that Thailand would be able to unify and achieve reconciliation.

Political Unrest In Thailand

For the past several weeks, the political opposition to the current government of Thailand has staged demonstrations in the capital city of Bangkok. Several people have been injured and a few have been killed as a result of these demonstrations and the security forces' subsequent response.

We have confirmed that all of our staff and children within our Bangkok project are safe. Please pray for the continued safety of our children and staff, and that this political crisis will end quickly and peacefully.
