What’s the best way to fully understand Mission of Mercy’s ministry?

There is a wealth of information on our website and on this blog, which we have created to be a resource for you.

But if you really know what Mission of Mercy does, one of the best things to do is visit your sponsored child’s country and experience the ministry for yourself.

That’s what ten adventurous people just did, having recently returned from Mission of Mercy’s first official Sponsor Tour to the Dominican Republic. There were two main objectives for this special trip: learn more about Mission of Mercy’s work in the DR, and meet their sponsored child.

Two sponsors had met their sponsored children on previous trips; their sweet reunions generated huge grins, a few tears, and lots of hugs.

Other sponsors met their sponsored children for the first time, creating an even deeper bond with these little ones and their families.

These sponsors also toured seven Mission of Mercy projects, meeting the staff who diligently serve and love on the kids. They even hosted a special field day for their sponsored children and their families.

This week we’ll learn more about their experiences, including a special church service and Vacation Bible School. There may have also been a giant slip and slide, hundred of wooden cars and a gaggle of clowns... but we'll save that for later!
