Did you know how immediate your prayers are? In Isaiah 65:24, God promises "Before they call I will answer, while they are still speaking I will hear."

When you write out a prayer for your sponsored child, we trust this promise that God is reading it and hearing it and preparing to respond in a holy instant. Isn't our God amazing?

With that in mind, each day we eagerly anticipate the mail delivery. The prayer postcards are slowly arriving (have you sent yours yet?) and the prayers you have written for your sponsored child are so powerful. We can't wait to see what happens in your sponsored child's life and heart because of these written blessings and God's grace.

Yet we also know that you aren't the only one praying -- your sponsored child and the staff also joined us on June 15 for a special time of prayer even though they regularly pray for Mission of Mercy and the sponsors.

One of our project directors in the Dominican Republic took a photo as a group of children gathered to pray for their sponsors. Just look at the concentration on their faces! You can see why the director wrote "Estamos unidos a la jornada esperando en el Senor haga su voluntad!" or "We are with you in this day of prayer waiting for God's will to be done!"

 Some of our dear friends with City Community Church from Indianapolis, Indiana, had the incredible opportunity to pray with the village and children they support during their mission trip in Honduras. In addition to the two photos we shared with you here, they also sent this incredible image as their moment of prayer united two communities with a common mission for the children:
