Christmas In October?

It's so easy and if you want, you can make sure your sponsored child gets a Christmas present right now.

Wait... Christmas in October? Already?

Yes! For us, it's the most wonderful time of the year! We can already anticipate the delight with which your sponsored child will receive a gift from you.
Each October, we open the Christmas Gift Fund so you can provide a Christmas gift for your sponsored child. (If it seems a little early for Christmas to you, just imagine that you had 40,000 children to shop for!)

The Christmas Gift Fund is the most efficient way to ensure your child has a joyous Christmas. Because your sponsored child lives in a region where families are barely getting by, a Christmas gift is a tremendous blessing.

Donations to the Christmas Gift Fund are combined and then divided equally among all the children registered in our programs, including those still waiting to be sponsored.

Your gift allows our staff to purchase gifts locally and then present it to your sponsored child as a gift from you. Sometimes the gift is a toy, but more often the gift meets a pressing need for your child: new shoes or clothing, a backpack, a warm blanket.

But that’s not all! On the day gifts are presented, the projects put on special Christmas celebrations with food and games. Parents are often invited for a musical program where the story of Christ’s birth is presented. It’s a unique opportunity to bless the whole family and share the love of Christ. Thanks to the sponsors for making it possible as this painted a smile on each of the students’ faces. Not many get to receive gifts during this time of the year and that is just one way to show how much they are loved!
